Why have a website?

Websites can help a company or person put their best forward and provide better information and services to existing and potential contacts. It can give leverage to other forms of marketing and information dissemination. Web addresses are easily put on brochures, business cards, signs, products, ads, phone messages, email, ... you-name-it. and can give interested people cost-effective 24/7 access to a wealth of information and an open door to your company.

Packages

The package prices are based on a discounted rate at about 43% of packages provided by a competitive company that charged $35/hour for updates (still low compared to others). These prices will be available through June 30th, 2009 at least. If you want to start work later than that, check the current pricing by email or by phone. If you would like a package that includes more or less pages or other features, or if you have a certain budget to work within, we can come up with a customized package to accommodate specific needs.

Regarding cost for web hosting, I think one of the best deals is provided by godaddy.com. Their up-time reliability is also good. When I looked last time, it was about $4.99 a month for a minimum of 2 months, with a 10% and 20% discount for one or two years of web hosting prepaid respectively. Check their site for current prices and more information.

If you want to see an example of work I have done, you can look at CrossCurrent Fellowship’s website at  www.akamaiweb.com/ccf2 (previously and later to be at www.eCrossCurrent.org). It has not been updated recently but is a good picture of the work I can do. The site has about 10 pages.
